Hope Haven and Mainspring Academy Announce Merger:
Stronger As One Organization
October 1, 2025
Jacksonville, FL — Hope Haven and Mainspring Academy are proud to announce a merger that unites two trusted nonprofits to expand opportunities for children and families with intellectual and developmental differences across Northeast Florida.
The need for services has never been greater. Families often face long waitlists, limited options, and the challenge of navigating fragmented systems, while students with complex needs struggle to find the right balance of education and therapeutic support. By coming together, Hope Haven and Mainspring Academy are addressing these gaps and ensuring that children and families have access to both a highly specialized school program and a comprehensive continuum of clinical and community services.
Together, the organizations serve children with some of the most complex learning and behavioral needs in Jacksonville. Students flourish in Mainspring’s individualized, therapeutic classrooms and benefit from Hope Haven’s wide range of developmental, clinical, and transitional supports.
The merger will:
Broaden services and programs available to children and families.
Leverage the combined expertise of dedicated staff and leadership.
Strengthen community partnerships and extend impact across the region.
