  • Hope Academy is a transition program for young people with disabilities, typically ages 16–22, designed to help them develop real-world job skills, build independence, and prepare for life after high school.

  • Students with a documented disability who are nearing the end of their high school years or recently graduated are eligible. Most participants are referred through Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), and our team can help guide you through that process.

  • Participants gain hands-on experience in:

    • Job exploration and career matching

    • Workplace readiness and soft skills

    • Independent living skills, such as budgeting and communication

    • On-site and community-based work experiences

  • Students participate in on-site training at Hope Haven and may also be placed in partner businesses in the community, where they receive support from trained job coaches while gaining real-world experience.

  • Yes, Hope Academy is a 10-month program with a tuition of $16,250. Financial assistance may be available, and we’re happy to talk through payment options or funding resources that could help support your family.

  • Each student is paired with a dedicated job coach who provides on-the-job support, skill building, and encouragement. Our coaches work closely with families, schools, and VR counselors to create a personalized plan.

  • Many of our students secure competitive employment, grow in confidence, and develop independence in meaningful ways. Hope Academy is about building a bridge, not just to work, but to a more empowered future.
